TTPB : I am the 4 work ex poster, I had filled the Mathematics and Data Track.. I assume the track is more to give indication for interests rather than making decisions.. Also, anyone have any idea regarding funding ? Do they give information about that after accepting the offer ?

Got an email that my application status had changed, and to go check the portal.

Website updated on 1st, received email and admission letter the next day. Completing BA in political science at Canadian institution in April 2020.

Why haven't I received my decision (probably rejection) yet?

Got a really nice phone call—said that I would have been accepted if they didn't have to make relatively few offers this year.

Accepted into the XE masters program... will turn down, nearly impossible to fund in a city with the highest cost of living

TTPB: Anyone apart from the big data track who got accepted?

CP subfield- asked to come to admitted students day. I have hope!!!

No research exp, no academic LoR, 4 yrs exp in data science companies

No mention of funding also. Did anyone get a funding offer or do they send those out later?

Got almost two Masters (part-scholarship one), one at Distinction level Russell Group last module, almost 4 years experience in Art field, published writer and invited lecturer - was a no. Translating foreign language text as thesis, want blood it seems. Only thing I can think of is that I didn't have best start first degree as I'm from low-income background and also International. Also my GRE, which is garbage anyway.

1 short-paper publication. 2 LORs from non-CS professors, 1 LOR from CS professor who's a visiting lecturer. Good luck everyone!
