Received an email update from POI after an interview a few weeks ago. Said that offers are expected to be sent within the next 10 days.

No funding/scholarship

Received an email to set up my Northeastern email account, so I checked the web portal.

Area: ML and CV

Asked to apply to Master's Program

Invited to an interview/virtual visiting weekend (both will be happening simultaneously)

Full funding

Fully Funded. 3a/3r/2w/13p

Got accepted to their slp program with the early intervention certification! Was a complete shock. Didn't need to interview with them.

Same kind form email received by others

Email from POI

Received an email to check portal. No prior journalism experience but had other extracurriculars. Very strong recommendations and personal statement. Super excited!

Kind rejection e-mail stating the committee felt the need to extend a word to me directly (assuming everyone got this).

I've also heard nothing. My assumption is that we're waitlisted at this point. Don't think I've ever been this anxious for news, NW is by far my #1 choice... 3a/1w?/1p/1r

MA+MFA

same email as the above posters. probably a form rejection, but a kind one at that. 1r/5p

I got the same e-mail as the posters below about receiving word directly from the department. I think this might just be a form email that they kindly send to everyone? 1a/0w/3r/7p

Email from department stating: " The number of available spaces in our program was extremely limited, and we've been obliged to turn down many outstanding applicants. The committee appreciated the opportunity to review your credentials, and felt that you deserved a word directly from the department." Congratulations to everyone who got in! (1a/2r/0w/6p)
