Did anyone hear back from UIC after the second round interview?

Lovely phone call by interviewer to notify me of acceptance. Best of luck to everyone!

Applied during Round 1.

TTPB: sorry to hear that! My interview was really quick, and they asked why I chose marketing, what is the area of focus I want to study, why UChicago, and asked me to talk about one research project or marketing paper that I find interesting.

TPB: the email read "We have just finished our review of the PhD Program applications for the Economics dissertation area at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. After much deliberation, we would like to place you on our waitlist. We hope to be able to make you an offer in the future as information regarding pending offers becomes available. We received many strong applications this year, and we are unable to make offers to all the applicants whose promise and qualifications we regard highly. As such, we hope that you will choose to remain on the waitlist. We will notify you immediately if and when we are in a position to offer you a place in the PhD Program. In the meantime, if you receive other offers and need to make a decision before you hear from us again or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us."

Chicago Booth is my dream school! So happy!

Emailed on March 1 by director of the writing program about scheduling a call on March 2. Funding to be determined and admission packet in the mail. 1a/10r

Email from program director with results directly, no portal check.

Rejected after interview. Admissions committee asked a lot of questions about my current role (industry), and no questions about my research interests/ experience. Maybe it's a fit problem. @ the below Quant acceptance, congratulations! May I ask how your interview was structured?
