Email from Phil Bricker. "High on waitlist for fellowship".

Nice personal email. Fingers crossed for financial aid.

Email from Phil bricker w details of funding!

First rejection. Already have 3 offers, and have committed to a school that treats its applicants far better. Good luck!

at long last, sweet sweet acceptance formal letter will arrive.

They wrote in my email as "Change to the application status". When I enter in their website I found "As of March 6, 2014 your application and credentials have been reviewed by the academic program to which you applied. At this time, they were not able to offer you admission to the Graduate School. The University typically receives many more applications from qualified applicants than there are spaces available."

Post-interview. Received a very nice personalized note from POI

1a/2w/1r. Not the best fit.

" much careful and painstaking thought and consideration was taken in making our decision. " Is that true?

Formal letter from GAD offering $17k assistantship (w/ tuition and fee waiver) with expectation of funding continuing for at least first 3 years and "probably longer." Assigned POI as adviser. April 15 decision deadline. (Update to earlier post from 24 Feb of informal acceptance.)

rejected after interview...heart broken right now
