Went to NYU for undergrad- wasn't expecting a rejection but also I didn't major in Applied Psychology so I guess that could be why..

Background - 3.5 GPA, 4 years experience working in education, 2 years as LGBTQ Crisis Counselor, LOR from the dean and headmaster of school I work at, no GRE

Undergrad outside of the U.S (3.83 GPA). Post-baccalaureate program in the U.S (3.97 GPA). Very average GRE scores (you can check the ETS website for GRE averages in different fields). Social work background (community organizing, case management) with little experience working in SLP-related settings. Got amazing recommendation letters and a strong statement of purpose.

Thought my quant score would be too low, but I got in!!

Email notification to check the portal. Had an average GPA, but I had extensive background in sexual health

got email at 10:30 am NYC time to check portal

Mathematics major

I haven't received any email, just happened to check the portal! No word on financial aid yet.

Called the admission office twice. In late February they said the decision would be released early March, but when I called again last week they said they had no information for me lol. Checked portal this morning and saw the result coming out.
