Received a letter from the Grad Studies saying I was accepted but no word from the program itself. Looks like people are waiting to hear about funding for fiction so I'm hoping for the same for poetry. Round two for applications and very happy to be accepted this time. 1a/3r/3p

I check the online app and the decision changed from something like "application ready for review" to " Grad Studies Formal Admit" and now has a button to "confirm intent to enroll". No word from the school or program though. Any ideas? I'm thinking maybe just processed by Grad Studies in general. I don't want to get my hopes up over here.

Accepted with full funding for two years and a fellowship. Damn fine!!

email from what looks to be the graduate school, waiting on more information hopefully from the department! 4a/0w/3r/4p

I was accepted via email on Monday night and Greg called me Tuesday night to let me know how much he wants me to come to the program. I also asked about funding and Greg was extremely helpful-- he let me know he will advocate for me as much as he can, and there are funding opportunities I can apply to within EWU on my own. I'm over the moon!

A sweet phone call from David Bosworth. I am very very pleased. He said he couldn't tell 4a/0w/4r/8p

Got the email and promptly burst into tears. Funding info to come in mid-March, but I'm so excited!!!

Rejected from the waitlist with a form letter suggesting I apply again. I had assumed this outcome given how late in the game it is.

Had to call to get my answer. Pam was very kind, but it's a huge bummer. If you haven't heard back, she said there are a few spots left but they are un-funded. Very, very sad to be rejected, but this is a great school. Congratulations to those who were accepted. I'm relieved to say I've made my selection and won't have to worry about this whole process anymore. Good luck to anyone still waiting!

Is anyone turning down a poetry offer from UW?

Email said that they only took 5-6 students this year.
