Emailed PhD coordinator last night asking about decisions, got an email this morning to check portal.

Methods subfield - thought it was a good but not perfect fit, so not totally shocked especially after not getting the call

Does anyone have any updates on the remaining ivies: Harvard, Yale, Penn, and Cornell... I know they've given interviews already to some people but did anyone receive acceptances or rejections?

GPA is grad. Checked the portal, and it was updated with "Application unsuccessful"

It was my dream school, saw on the website, they did not care to send an e-mail... even had Zoom meeting with POI... the gpa is grad... I am devastated

pretty low GRE and little quant background, not a great fit

Comparative/Methods. Got cut in that one grand nuke with everyone else. Tough, as it's a great fit, but I know Mearsheimer would abhor my existence even from afar – iykyk. So no hard feelings.

Unfortunate. It was my best/only fit for mastering the one subregion of my very niche area studies research that I couldn't get extremely competent in during previous education.

Sigh!!
