To the poster who asked about the ISCP program. You will get a Master of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in information security degree. Job opportunities are good but not that great compared to a person who completes a traditional masters as USA prefers Us citizens for their security related federal jobs. Having said that, there are a lot of private companies who hire international students (Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, other private companies). Purdue being famous for their information security courses and the class sizes being very small, If you have interest towards the security side then it is a good opportunity for you.

To the poster below: TBH, it's hard to believe that none of the admits are using GC. I would hope at least a couple of people would post. Also saw nothing on yocket.com. I strongly feel they are yet to send MS CS admits :) Any chance you could ask your cousin to visit again and this time check "MS CS only and not ISCP" ?

To the posters below who got accepted into ISCP ( Information Security for Computing Professionals ). How is the program in general? Does it provide a Masters degree like M.Sc Information Security? How are the job opportunities after the program completion? I applied to Masters in Computer Science but got accepted into ISCP. Since this is a new program I cannot find much information online.

I was accepted without an interview, but later had one to discuss the possibility of an RA/TA position.

Sounds like there are a bunch of us still waiting to hear back. Does anyone know if that rejection posted earlier today is legit or a troll?

I dont think there have been any rejections, but expect a mass of them soon considering they want to get back to everyone by end of April. Brace for impact.

"The earliest we will look at the waitlist is around April 15. However, we not have a timeline for finalizing the waitlist. Generally, applicants can be admitted to a program until the start of the semester so offers can go out until sometime in August."
