Had an interview in February, waitlisted early March. Accepted off the wait list today! So so excited!! Is there a Facebook group? Looking for a roommate :)

If you haven't heard anything you're waitlisted and wont hear till after april 15th.

Hi everyone. I am currently enrolled in the 1st cohort for this program so I was accepted Fall 2016. I just wanted to provide some insight for those considering this program or if you have been accepted elsewhere. The school itself is nice, however due to this program being new it has not been as stable per say. A lot of unorganization, lack of placements especially medical sites. Wish I would have considered more school options before deciding. If seeking a strong program with a good structure and established placements, this program has not shown me that yet.

To those asking about NYMC: The class is 38 people, I heard at the interview that they accept more than 38 people; but the actual seats in the class are not guaranteed until you pay the deposit to confirm that you accept the offer. So basically they told us that if you were offered admission, and really wanted to go there, not to hesitate and deposit right away to avoid being waitlisted after the class fills up :/

To those who have been accepted or waitlisted and do not want to attend, can you please notify Samford as soon as you can because there are many of us who would love to be admitted !! :)

To the person below, I still have heard no word yet either...at this point I'm assuming it will either be a wait list or a rejection...hoping for at least a wait list as I'm sure you are too

Has anyone else still not heard from LIU Post after being interviewed?

To the poster below me: I called the office because I heard everything was supposed to be going out today. The lady told me that they are behind and a wave is supposed to be going out today, Wednesday and Friday for summer. But I'm not sure because every time I call they tell me something different, but this was the latest update I've heard.

Declined my offer of admission at BW today. I honestly loved the program, but could not afford the tuition. Hope this helps someone else!

Hello, to the poster who informs that she/he has been wait listed because the program is full.... That is weird. I received an email just on 4/7/17 indicating the same information but I received the email of acceptance on Monday, 4/3. So how was the program full as of last week? Could you clarify?

Has anyone on the waitlist heard anything from the U of M? I received an email last week which said that admissions would start sending out offers to those on the waitlist within the next week.

To the poster below: Yes, it is steep! But it's not unlike many other med-focused MS-SLP programs. Another thing to keep in mind, though: SLPs working in skilled nursing facilities and home health services earned average annual salaries of $85,610 and $91,220, respectively—well above the overall national average of $72,730. (Found through Googling "average slp salary") Rocky Mountain is currently my only option, so if you have other, cheaper options, congratulations!!
