Got accepted yesterday to the 1year MA program everyone else was accepted to. No funding. To those of you who got in, what have you decided? I don't think it's a good offer, but I also don't know if that's what you have to expect.

Has anyone else heard from USF? Its getting kind of late....

Absolutely ecstatic! No word on funding, but honestly just grateful to get accepted at this point. Straight from undergrad with a conditional offer.

All rejections so far. 2 more pending. Probably just more rejections. Your experiences are apparently worth nothing. Numbers are all that matter. If you have an acceptance, cherish it.

I've received an unofficial notification from POI last month, but there is no single response from the unit of department and graduate studies after all. I am so worry about the final decision about their acceptance for my application. I need to make clear of it to prepare for my future undertaking, whether I got admitted at last with funding or not. Or else, I should find an ordinary job earlier. As my POI suggested, I could write an email to the dean of graduate unit for my result of application and ask for the details about funding issue. However, I am not really sure whether this is kind of appropriation for me to approach to the dean of Graduate Studies unit at this moment. Just in case this might be an offensive action to harm my application decision in pending ? Anyone help me please....

Canadian applicant. Email from the department and generic rejection email. Was not accepted because supervisor did not have enough positions.

Got accepted via email, offered teacher assistant position and a thesis supervisor as well.

I received a personal email from the director of admissions confirming what I already knew. Waiting on word from two more universities... If they say no I guess I'll just become a corporate hack, oppress the little people, and get appointed to high government office (because that's a thing now).

Replying about funding. I was told by poi that i would be given full funding....which is a basic ta-ship. (Tuition wave, stipend @15k, ta-ing 2-3 sections a semester). Told I'll receive details in in a few weeks. I likely decline. Acc to all five places i applied. Received awful funding packages even though i won numerous fellowships. Apparently only sc ivy get real funding and get it guaranteed.
