The Admissions Committee very much enjoyed hearing about your research and talking with you during your Skype interview. While your application materials were strong, resources allow us to admit only two students. The committee has offered our top two applicants admission to the program and they have accepted. Therefore, we are not able to offer admission to you.

MPhil in Latin American Studies

I applied to the NELC PhD program but got recommended to the Masters program instead, unsure if I will accept as this would then be my second Masters.

Received an informal e-mail notifying of admission to the program. Formal offers of admission are expected later this week. I was also notified I have been wait listed for funding. Excited about the opportunity; worried about the cost.
