To the poster below, as I understand it, you may be notified via: Direct E-mail Phone Call Status change on the application web-site. I'm still waiting for details as well, but I've heard you can also contact the program coordinator directly for details. It appears that many of the notifications are to PHD's at this point, so perhaps there is an order in which the applications are reviewed starting with the higher degree's first.
