honestly, just happy to not be rejected. this is my top choice, so please let them know if you are not planning to accept. 4a/2w/1r/1p

No email, but just found this in my portal: "Your application has been reviewed, and the committee has denied admission." Guess I can't blame them for being concise, but that would've been a hurtful way to find out if I hadn't already accepted an offer elsewhere.

No interview, just still in the dark so curious if others are as well

Very brief and cold rejection message in the portal. 0a/1w/7r/1p

No email yet. I found out the same way described by some earlier posters today-- had to check my application portal, and found out via a brief and pretty cold statement. This wraps up the application cycle for me.

No email, just checked the portal after seeing other rejections on here 2a/4r/1p

Grad GPA 4.0, 5A/3W/9R/2P. In portal, no email yet.

One line portal notification: a really shitty way of finding out. We deserve better than that. Now just waiting on waitlists. 0a/8r/4w

UK English Lit Graduate from University of Manchester, wait listed last year but acceptance this time

Top choice!!!! Thrilled!!! Notified through email from the DGS. Waitlisted for an assistantship, but the language suggests they expect a spot to open soon. Keeping fingers crossed! 4.0 MA GPA. 4a/4r/3p

Rejected from PhD but accepted to Masters program

Rejected from PhD but accepted to MA.

IGNORE INTERVIEW After seeing a rejection posted here this morning, I reached out to the Department regarding the status of my application, as I have not yet heard anything. I was told that "Admissions Decisions are still being made. Applicants will be able to check their status next week by logging into the application portal." A little upset at this point. I just want the rejection, so I can be put out of my misery.
