Email to check application portal. Awarded $20,000 graduate scholarship. (Notification of that was given in a separate letter that was also available in the portal) I'm so happy!!!

Missed the group interview

Got an email update to check the portal, interview was in mid February.

Got an email about a change in application status and checked the portal. Accepted with $5k scholarship. I attended the group interview and applied for Jan 8th deadline.

Got an email about a change of application status (which is usually a sign of rejection, since most accepted emails just show you the admission letter?), went to the portal to check anyway. Accepted with $5k scholarship. I'm pleasantly surprised.

: ( Really want to go, plz drop if you are admitted but decided not going

with $5,000 scholarship

Update on application portal

Email to check portal

Very sweet phone call. I was told that admits have two weeks to decide before they let the waitlist know if they have a chance in.

Email to check portal

Creative Nonfiction applicant. Email to check website, where there was a brief rejection notice. :( My only MFA application but I was still very serious about it. 2a/1w/4r

Pretty pleased to be considered by such a good program, but I'm going to reject to offer. From what I hear, funding for those who move off the waitlist can be scant, and I've been taken in by a good school already. Best luck to those crossing their fingers for NYU!

Anyone else waiting to hear back from the MA in MCC? Haven't heard anything back but noticed two people posted their acceptances. Really hoping I hear some positive news this week!

email w/ link to standard rejection letter

So glad to know either way. Congrats to all who have been accepted!
