1a/2w/6r/1p. I got into my top choice school (fully funded fellowship), so no hard feelings here.

I will be accepting their offer this afternoon; if you were in the waitlisted for the GAship--sorry.

Accepted with full funding and an additional fellowship; very friendly series of emails with a few professors! Considering declining for another offer, since my spouse and I received equal, slightly better funding elsewhere.

Accepted 3/26, waitlist for funding (apparently they can fund one person per genre, but admit one or two more). Followed up with phone call 3/28; really kind people there, and the funding sounds great!

I was waitlisted 3/20. Super stoked! 5a/8r/1p

To the poster below: I will be declining my partially-funded offer. I was offered ~30,000 for the entire three years-- not nearly enough to attend, unfortunately.

To the poster below: I'll be declining my offer in the coming days. However, it was unfunded. It's an amazing program, but I can't afford $105k in student debt :/ Good luck!

Someone said Boston would notify by the end of this week - bolstering myself with many distractions for a long week.

Email from program director. 1a/1r/2p

Excited to be accepted. Still waiting on one more, and I'll need to do some thinking on this. I wish Butler had more funding opportunities. 2a/5r/1p

Got an email saying to check portal (for an obvious rejection) for my admission decision. I agree with the post below, pretty rude letter that they couldn't even manage to put in an automatic email and send out. Not sad about not attending this program after the language that has been used in their communications and even in their website.

If you aren’t planning on accepting your offer, let them know! I really want in.

A pretty rude rejection email. Interim Dean: " the faculty of the program to which you applied (Creative Writing - MFA - Fiction) has not recommended your admission...I support their decision and therefore cannot offer you admission." COOL. Good to know you support their decision!

I already accepted an offer from another school.

To fellow accepted/waitlisted applicants waiting for my answer: I am 80% certain that I will accept NMSU. I'm waiting on another school regarding GAship, but they are so disorganized. They literally JUST told me I had to fill out a separate application sheet for the GAship, and the deadline to respond is NEXT WEEK! I'm probably going to wait it out and see because there are more pros for me in Ohio than NM, but I don't know if I want to deal with Ohio's BS anymore. With NM, I got GAship. So if you're waitlisted for the GAship, then sorry for making you wait. This is also a heads up that 8/10 I will accept NMSU. I'll probably post again before I respond.

After ten rejections over two years, this feels sublime. Waitlisted for a graduate assistantship. (Good luck to those still waiting at this stage -- there's still hope!)
