contacted two PIs that I was interested in; shared my current research and why I am interested in their group. 1 very strong LOR, other 2 pretty good LORS. 3.5 years of research, no pubs, several awards/honors, double major in chem and math.

No GRE, 2 summers and 2 semesters of research, 5 strong LOR. First acceptance letter! So excited.
