Very good gre scores (quantitative 168, verbal 158, aw 3.5), 3.9 GPA, Excellence path, two medium strength recommendation letters. A few medals in national programming/maths competitions. Honestly surprised, thought I had no chance against people from top universities with published papers. Don't forget, all that glitters is not gold. Never lose hope!

Finally got accepted after a long time in waitlist. So glad :) Applied to all ambitious univs and this was my only admit. Any advice for the program would be welcome :D

Did anyone hear back from UBC Okanagan for their MDS program? For the last 3 weeks they are saying they have finalized the candidates. Every time when I ask, for the last 3 weeks, they say they are sending out the offers that week. I am getting highly impatient.

GPA 8.96/10. CS undergrad from MU. 1 paper, a couple of projects, no internships or workex. Had received a mail from their admissions office on May 11 with the subject 'Outcome of MComp applicaiton status- to check online around 22-23 May 2018'. Some of the people who got the admits weren't sent the email (making it an indicator for a reject or at best waitlist). Checked the portal and saw the status as 'Unsuccessful'.

Got into InfoSec specialization, hoping to shift to Networking and Distributed Systems.

Has anyone heard from ETH for the Bologna Application period ? Especially in MSc. Computer Science - Data Science. To the people who had been expected to the same in the international application period, can you please share your profiles (GRE, TOEFL, GPA, research/work experience) ?

Such an odd feeling to be rejected only by my safe school. Have 3 significantly better admits.
