I was rejected from the MSW/PhD Program :(, but admitted to the MSW program :)

e-mail said would be notified in the mail within 2 weeks

Didn't realize that they do not include any additional courses when calculating gpa, only the ones from your undergrad degree. So I was rejected for having a "low academic average"

I did the early application deadline and found out I was put on the "Alternate List" (March 25th) after people had already received their acceptance notifications. Very frustrating to have applied 6 weeks before the regular deadline and to find out my status nearly a month later and not by the Feb 28th early notification time.

If you've been accepted and don't plan on accepting their offer PLEASE tell them so wait-listed people can get in!!!!

Received a phone message and email simultaneously accepting me into the 2 year Health/Mental Health concentration.

We find that your application falls in the category of being very highly ranked but we are unable to offer you a place in the next class at this time and we have placed your name on our waitlist. From experience, we anticipate that in the coming weeks and months some places in that class will become available for one of a number of reasons.

Oh well.. Third acceptance.
