Emailed about the status of the admissions process, got my rejection near right away. Undergrad is from UofT. Three research assistantships, strong lettres of reference, numerous principle author presentations at international conferences, clear goals in my statement, 3.5 annual GPA in my final year, but bad grades in my first three years of undergrad. To the poster below in EEB, I met my supervisor yesterday and she told me that she got an e-mail from the head of the admission committee confirming she wanted to supervisor me. She said she got the e-mail last week, so I'm guessing they're really slow with sending official confirmation letters. Maybe check with your POI or e-mail the admission committee the see your status? Told over email when I inquired last week because I had other offers to accept that I was waitlisted, official letter came in the mail saying 'we regret to inform we cannot accept you' blah blah blah. 3.73 GPA, related work experience and strong references, not sure how they make their decisions but whatever | ||||
