Unsure if I am receiving financial/assistantships yet, said we get a "follow up" email

Got a POI phone call! 3.5 years of research (1 year of full time, rest is part time)

POI emailed me to that they recommended me to the admission committee. Likely to be accepted but not final.

Cumulative gpa 3.2. University gpa 3.67

No GRE, from a small undergraduate institute, less than 1 year of in-person research, 3 strong LOR

International Applicant from India, TOEFL Score of 112/120, vast interdisciplinary research experience with multiple internships. 2 strong research-based LOR's and 1 academic LOR. 1 Publication in a good journal.

3 research experiences at different labs, no pubs (1 in preparation), decent GPA, strong LORs (I guess?), toefl 111. super excited and grateful for the chance to interview and meet professors/students!

UIUC is my safety. Cold emailed POI before and got a chance to talk before I submitted my application, and he said at the time I would definitely get into better schools. He ended up being right but I'm still very grateful for the acceptance. Acceptance email from POI followed by the official one a couple of days later.
