Email to check the portal where I received a general rejection letter. Congrats to all those admitted!

Knew this was coming so not too disappointed, 1a/1r/2p

I reached to my POI and they responded "Many thanks for your interest in my lab. Unfortunately, I have already accepted two Ph.D. students for the fall term. I'm very sorry that I am unable to take on additional mentees this admissions cycle." With that being said, I am pretty sure we are just waiting for a rejection letter to be sent out if you have yet to hear from them. Best of luck to everyone!

Email to check the website. I applied to the JDP so still holding out hope for that one!

Received email to check status says rejected

Email to check the portal. Standard rejection notice.

Randomly checked the website and found a generic rejection. Unsurprising since we already know that they sent out acceptance and waitlist offers. Best of luck to everyone as we wait for the rest of our decisions! 1a/2r/4p

(I'm the poster directly below; just wanted to clarify that I heard earlier in the day, and the claim that some more went out later is conjecture based on other post times!)

Thrilled, good luck to everyone still waiting. Seems like the calls aren't all going out at once (batch at around noon, and some more now?), but they are going out!
