Wait since when is MIT not taking students? They definitely accepted applications... That's messed up if true. At least UChicago and UPenn were upfront and just didn't take applications. Re: Harvard - based on previous years, interview notifications should come out late this week (maybe early next). Decisions in late Feb. Re: Cornell - I think decisions should be out this week. Fingers crossed.

TTPB (Cornell University): I've heard that MIT is not accepting this year. I'm not sure about Harvard though.

Hey everyone, I was told during my interview that acceptances may not be sent until the end of February. FYI.

TTPB: I don't know whether it was general or not, That's why I am asking whether did anyone else got this email? Also, the subject of the email was: "Important Information About Your Cornell Tech Application". It started with: "Hi [My Name], Thank you again for your continued interest in Cornell Tech! As we begin to receive applications for Round 2 admission, we would like to provide you with a status update on your application."

TTPB: Nope :/ was it a general email?

Anyone got any idea about when the admission decision will be available ?

TTPB: I received an email stating: "Given the high volume of applications we've received, it is taking slightly longer than anticipated to complete our full review of the applicant pool. Your application is still actively under consideration by our committee and we hope to have a final admissions decision available to you by mid-to-late February. Please note that this is not a reflection of your competitiveness and we hope to have more information to share in the coming weeks." Is there anyone else who got this mail?

Has anyone heard anything new from Cornell / Harvard / MIT?

Anyone received any decision email in January? According to their webinar decisions were supposed to be out by ~15th of Jan.

To the commenter below, could you please let us know about your concentration, funding scenario, and PI? I also applied there but no decision yet. Not sure if they have sent all the acceptance already, and rejections are on the way :(

I received an email from the Psychology dept. saying they would like to transfer my application to the Human Development dept. I received the email on the 5th and didn't see it until the 23rd, so I'm not sure whether I'll have a chance even if I agree to transfer the application.

Got a call saying that I was one of their top candidates and was unofficially in, and that'd I'd get an official acceptance with everyone else in Feb! In shock, super excited about this :)
