Master GPA is a 3.91 with a lower 3.14 for undergrad. They liked my letters of recommendation the most followed by my previous research experience. The Head of the Department called for Interview on March 3rd and we met March 22nd. After the weekend, I called him and accepted. Then the school formally accepted on the 6th. I got the mailed letter a week later.

Postdate 4/11/18 Notified that I was a finalist, but failed to make the cut of seven.

Just declined an offer from UC San Diego. Good luck to those in the WL.
