Anyone on the NYU waitlist still not heard back?

I was a late applicant to this low-res program. After going through the pain and expense of applying to ten full-res fully-funded schools, I realized that low-res was really the right fit for me. I am thrilled to be starting workshop in August.

called to ask, but it sounds like if you've heard nothing from siu there's a chance you might have been waitlisted 1a/1w/5r

Rejected from the waitlist with a form letter suggesting I apply again. I had assumed this outcome given how late in the game it is.

Was initially waitlisted in March and received a final rejection email this morning. Still waiting to hear back from NYU as to whether or not I'm off the waitlist. I got rejected from all the other schools I applied to (Brown, Michigan, Cornell, UCI) so if I don't get into NYU, that's it. Feeling pretty down.

Had to call to get my answer. Pam was very kind, but it's a huge bummer. If you haven't heard back, she said there are a few spots left but they are un-funded. Very, very sad to be rejected, but this is a great school. Congratulations to those who were accepted. I'm relieved to say I've made my selection and won't have to worry about this whole process anymore. Good luck to anyone still waiting!
