Unfortunately got rejected by both the low-res and full-res programs. Definitely stung, though this was my weakest application by far. I had to submit poetry and CNF as part of my fiction application (as all do), and my poetry is beyond garbage, while my CNF is barely decent. Doesn't hurt as bad as it could, but still sucks.

ouch! (vancouver campus, full-res)

Got an interview request via e-mail, and met through Zoom with 2 profs

(ignore the status) I haven't received any updates from UBCV. No interview, no email. I checked my portal and it showed "in progress". Is it just me or is anyone in the same situation?

Ignore waitlist, Has anyone been admitted to Columbia in the sub-area of machine learning, natural language processing or computer vision?

Absolutely shocked and delighted! Didn't feel that good about my application but I'm so excited!

Not interview. I want to know whether anyone got a rejection letter from PhD program in English at Columbia. I saw some people were accepted. I have not got my result yet. Wondering if I was rejected or on the waitlist.

Did anyone hear back from Columbia Quant Marketing after the interview? Thanks!

got the email tonight asking to schedule an interview.

Notified by email, official letter posted on portal.

waitlisted :( but there's still hope. if your heart isn't in social justice and working w/racially and culturally diverse people, please let them know, so we can have a chance at our dream school (go for a POI who genuinely inspires you). POI is my ideal fit, ideal mentor.

Email saying to check portal

(Ignore waitlist) Does no interview mean rejection at this point, or does Columbia do rolling admissions? I applied to the theory group.
