Has anyone in the NLP field received notification from poi yet?

Just got an unofffcial acceptance notification from POI. Had a 45 mins interview with a faculty in Cornell Tech on early January.

Congrats to all those who get admissions! I’m pretty surprised for being subtlely rejected given the feedbacks from other schools. Guess I just have to move on and cross fingers for the big-4 ...

Got an email requesting to interview Jan 3rd; Interviewed last monday, got email today from POI's saying they've recommended me and that i've been accepted, more info to come tomorrow

First Admit! Very Excited! One year RA funding. Had 30 minutes non-technical interview related to the university and my interest in the Ph.D. program earlier this month. Masters GPA: 3.67, 8 Publications (1 Journal, 4 Conference, 3 Posters), 1 Patent, very strong letters of recommendation. Lots of teaching experience, talks, and presentations. One year of research experience in the industry and one year of experience as a developer. Congratulations to all who were accepted.

To the Stanford posters below: I know some strong applicants (e.g., have several first-authored top tier conference/journal publications) were accepted without any interviews in the past years. I personally had a phone interview with a faculty, who is not poi but in admission community, and it was pretty general admission interview like the posters in the past week. I think except for some exceptional cases, Stanford faculties like Prof. Li do not have interviews by themselves to admit their students.

To the poster asking about acceptance for PhD in computer architecture, I had an interview with the prof a week ago. He scheduled another meeting today and told me about the decision. Don't mind, I don't think it's right to disclose his identity.

Got accepted with fellowship (4 year full funding). 4 research publications and strong LoRs. Interviewed a week before acceptance.

POI informed via email that he would be happy to fund me with an RA position. However, I still have not received an official letter yet.
