To Stanford CS applicants, the CS interviewer did mention that those who are being interviewed for PhD admission are in the top 20% of the applicants this year. They usually finally take in 1/3rd of those interviewed. However, if more applicants apply to a particular research group, then the probability of getting in decreases. Those who have been interviewed will be notified within 1/2 weeks. | ||||
