I have been accepted into the Long Island Consortium and will be accepting their offer. I have been wait listed from NOAC, UCONN, and Ohio University. I just emailed these schools to tell them to take me off their list so that hopefully those of you who are on their wait list and are waiting to get accepted off the list can now have a better chance.

Spoke to a woman at the hearing and speech science office and she told me i was put on the wait list for funding. So it looks i will be turning down Vandy and going to CUNY grad center. good luck to everyone on the wait list!

For the people who interviewed on March 9, have y'all heard back yet? And does anyone know if Dallas has a wait list for people they interview?

To the poster below (and anyone else still waiting to hear from Buffalo).. My acceptance email is still lost somewhere in cyberspace (was "sent out" 2/8) and had it not been for an audiologist at the school that reached out to me to ask if I plan on coming to an accepted student open house, I would have never have known. (and this is one of my top choices) EMAIL OR CALL THEM!! They have their second open house this Friday. The same thing happened to my friend (we are in the same undergrad program) that applied to the speech program (was accepted but the email sent of 2/8 never got to her). Something is weird..

Did not receive funding, but placed on the "alternate" list. Hoping to go, but don't know if it is possible without funding.

Very generic letter of rejection, wish it was more specific where it listed the reason(s) for the rejection so that I know what to improve on.
