Admitted to Spring'19. Psyched to have gotten an admit!

In 3-4 weeks, the UCLA Graduate Division will email you an admission announcement and provide procedures for securing your place in the entering fall class which includes completing the Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) and Statement of Legal Residence (SLR) no later than Sunday, April 15, 2018, 5:00pm PST. Does this mean we have to accept or decline the offer by April 15?

To the poster below: the guys who got in have to communicate via email whether they accept the offer or not by 15th April. I guess depending on the response, they may send out a few admits in the next week. But at this point I am not very hopeful :(

Any idea if they are done releasing admits? Need to decide my final university to get things done in time. :/

Received an email reminder from the financial aid office to submit documents. But I have heard absolutely nothing about my admission. Checked my portal, but there's been no change. Any advice? Should I just contact the department?

Master's degree in physics with emphasis in computational physics. Bachelor's degree in physics with a minor in CS. Physics GRE: 770. Two publications in computational physical chemistry. Experience with CUDA/GPU. (Declined offer)

Bad undergrad experience with UCSD. When sophomore, was 4.0 GPA before applying for CS major change, fucked up a class (B+) and got rejected. This time all my CS major friends got in. So limited resources for CSE. Wish those admitted be successful in the future career :)

Finally! Good GRE, 1 paper, Tier-2 Indian College, Lots of projects related to AI, 2 Internships. Thrilled!

Recently got this email from their side after 7 days. - We have completed our academic evaluation of your application and notified your intended graduate department. Because of the varied factors involved in the graduate department review process, we cannot give you an estimate of when you might expect the decision.

Good GRE. 2 papers. Bangalore college. Good GPA

Finally!! IIT undergrad in ECE with high scores, good GPA and decent research experience. No publications. Btw, the mail said to respond by 15th April, so most admits should probably be out by this weekend. Good luck!
