still have not heard ANYTHING from the public policy and administration program at ryerson, it seems like there are however a number of us in the same boat. here's hoping that no news is good news so far? but the fact that people below me have recently been rejected in may scare me LOL

My online application status still states “under departmental review.” Although I would love to hear yes from them, it’s so late in the game I’m just assuming that I’ve been rejected. TPB: I received an email from the dept. stating that they no longer had spots available. It sounds like they're done for this admissions seasons. Subsequently, I've received a rejection letter via online portal. Good luck.

The graduate program to which you have applied has recommended your admission. Best advise would be to align your research interest with that of faculty members, make that interest known in your personal statement. Also dont focus to much (or at all) on the theories, as a doctoral candidate you are expected to know that so focus on what type of research you want to complete, know your research population!!!! The verbal and written scores on the GRE are very important to your application packet.
