Undergrad from a top 5 mechanical engineering school. 2 research, 2 internships, 1 publication. 3.8 GPA. Expected since I know they only accept 4.0? Congrats to those who got in!

Got an email this morning

top 10 engineering schools, 2 research publications, 2 internships, decent LORs, still not enough for Stanford. But congrats to all who got accepted!

All decisions should be out by March 26 since that is the day of virtual campus visit for MS admits.

No email notification. Directly check the website to see the admission letter. Probably will not accept this because I have received PhD offers elsewhere.

Received the email at 1 am EDT. Good luck to everyone else!

The posts below are highly dubious, considering they were posted on 3/19 and it is still 6am on 3/19 on the west coast.

TTPB: Congratulations to those who got selected. Is there any news that only accepts got sent out?

Are these decisions legit?

Not heard anything yet. Has everyone else received decisions?

(Not Waitlsted) TTPB, can you guys share your profiles too

Standard Rejection Letter

When are they releasing decisions? It's already very late this year. Last year by this time, the decisions were released.

Reached out to some faculty expressing interest in MS/PhD research in their labs, two were interested and asked me to reach out again if admitted. Applied with 2.5 years of undergrad research exp in 2 labs, 3 internships, 3 senior design projects, 3 letters of rec (1 prof emeritus, 1 assistant prof, 1 project scientist) but low GPA. This was an extremely competitive year, congrats to all admitted!

Does anyone know when results get released and have confirmation from Stanford?
