I don't understand what is wrong with their funding this year, no funding to anyone...Then I am wondering why they even accept applications....Could you please be so kind and post your GPA, GRE, etc. to this page?? Just called the department to learn my admission result. I have been waiting for 5 months, still no reply. And now, I've been told I would hear something by the end of the month! Is this a joke?? Even if they accept me, I am not sure if I should attend this school. They are very slow, no communication at all, no answering my phone calls, no reply to my emails, very rude phone conversation, and no result for 6 months preceding my application. So silly, so stupid!!!

To posters below: I was accepted by email about ten days ago, but no financial aid. I will not go.

It is getting so so late, and I need to make my decision, but unfortunately this school never returned back to my calls, emails, etc. Should I call the department chair? Is it a good idea? still no reply...no notification....it's been for 5 months waiting....no email, nothing....if I get 'reject' in the end of this 5 months-waiting , I will be heartbroken so much....

Just got an email saying a spot opened up with TA support. I have to take it, but I wish everyone else the best of luck.

To the poster below: "The next step of the enrollment process is to meet with or speak with your advisor (Dr. Qing-Ming Wang is the default advisor for all part-time Mechanical Engineering Students and Dr. Jung-Kun Lee is the default advisor for all part time Materials Science students) regarding specific course selections. Your admissions letter will identify your specific advisor."

To the poster blow, thank you. The official letter is not coming yet. They just emailed me on Friday their time. I think this is an admission and I need to contact my advisor identified on the official letter if I want some financial aids. Whatever, I am going to decline it. Good luck to you!
