Mail from POI stating I have not been selected. TTPB, what subfield of CS did you apply in?

Email from POI saying they are not moving forward my application because he thought I'm not a good fit in his lab. Is UW a strong faculty-based admission instead of committee-based?

Generic rejection email. Not surprised given the competitive nature of this program, but still sad. I have my Master's degree and four years of full-time research experience at an R1 university and major research hospital, three publications (1 first-author), and a letter of recommendation from an internationally recognized PI in my field. Best of luck to all invited for interviews!

i have an interview scheduled with the committee on 1/29/21

CS undergrad, 3+ years of experience as a software engineer. Admitted to the data science & product management concentrations.

Submitted my application the day before it was due. Beyond surprised but incredibly thankful.

Interviews will happen during the week of Jan 25th.

TTPB: I sent my application right before the deadline (Jan 5th). Got the acceptance email today.

TTPB: For those accepted, when did you submit your application? I'm trying to see if they are going through them chronologically.

Contacted for an interview, had the interview 1/20, she said that interviews are continuing in the next few weeks.
