Anyone heard back from University of Toronto yet? Seems like a lot of people got accepted already in March. Do I assume rejection now? Is there any hope in April and May?

Told over email when I inquired last week because I had other offers to accept that I was waitlisted, official letter came in the mail saying 'we regret to inform we cannot accept you' blah blah blah. 3.73 GPA, related work experience and strong references, not sure how they make their decisions but whatever

UofT undergrad; not Canadian; was not in the math specialist program. Direct entry PhD with 20k stipend+8.2k TA works+tuition waiver for 5 years. Will not accept, which means at least one other person in my situation is going to get in! Good luck!

I applied to the PhD program as an undergrad. They notified me saying I wasn't qualified to apply and I asked to be put in the running for the masters program and there was no response from them. Low and behold they did! I had given up on this application and I'm so presently surprised.

Wasn't expecting it. This came in as a surprise especially after the long wait. Came as a total surprise. Oh and it's for the M.Eng program.

Knew I was going to be rejected as my status changed to "decision made" in the portal over a week ago. Finally got rejected today by mail (??). 3.85 undergrad GPA. Already accepted the offer to my first choice anyways.

Are offers still going out for statistics? My account still says 'under review'.... Applied for full time master's starting in fall

The SGS portal still says that my application is under review. I haven't received any emails or other notices. I don't even know if I have been waitlisted but I assume that I have since other people have posted that they have been accepted. I'm Canadian and attended Canadian Universities. Is there anyone out there with any updates that they would like to share?

Canadian from ON. Went from Under Review to Decision Made on April 9. Did not receive an email. Based on the comments here, I guess that means I've been rejected. :(

TTPB I am in the same situation. Haven't been rejected or invited for an interview.

My case was really interesting. I was nominated by the Department of Geography for the Trillium/Connaught scholarship. For those of you who are not familiar- this is a massive province-wide scholarship fund that is available to international students at almost all universities in Ontario (might be nationwide but I'm not positive, I'm from the U.S.). I was nominated for the scholarship with one other student among the whole international PhD geography/planning applicant pool, but, at the same time, was not offered a funded spot. So I was put in a situation where if I win this hyper-competitive, long-odds scholarship, terrific. I'm in. If not, then I would not be offered any funding. It kind of paints a blurry picture about my candidacy. Was I good enough to nominate for this scholarship but not for a regular admissions offer? I'm guessing the department extended international offers immediately and then nominated me as their "take it or leave it, we're kind of indifferent" candidate. For all practical purposes, was my application "rejected" the moment I was put up for a scholarship that was statistically almost impossible to get given the number of other attractive applicants from across disciplines at U of T? All just things I'm mulling over really. What an exciting journey though! Glad my application was competitive. On to the private sector and a year of regressing before playing the game all over again!

Has anyone heard anything from the university for Applied Computer Science Program? I have not gotten an interview request or a reject yet and I am really starting to lose my mind over this now!

I still have not received any notifications which has led me to assume a rejection. Has anyone/international applicants heard results of MPP?
