First decision of the season, a reject :(

Lots of undergrad research experience at a relatively obscure institution. Likely perceived lack of faculty fit.

Was expected at least now it is official.

Area: PL. 1yr of dissertation research, no paper published.

Generic reject. Was long shot anyway.

TTPB: Princeton usually sends out all admits together (from last few year's grad cafe data) so it should be safe to assume a rejection.

Still waiting from Princeton. Checked spam, web page, everything. We may need to have more patience.

5 LONG years of research, 4 internships at NASA and SPACEX, 10 first author papers, and 3 EXTREMELY strong LORs, including one from Elon Musk. A SOP that would make Hemingway cry. Oh, did I mention my 3.9 GPA? I can't believe they rejected my application. I've literally dedicated my life to getting into Princeton. I shunned socializing, women, and sometimes even hygiene in order to focus on my work. I'm literally shaking right now. Life is so unfair. Screw Princeton. I guarantee I'm smarter than 90% of the admissions board.
