I was also accepted to the fiction program on Jan 25th. I’ve been in contact with one of the professors, and she said they will likely admit 3 in fiction, 3 in nonfiction, and 4 or 5 in poetry. I think they’ve already contacted everyone who’s been admitted, although I’m not 100% sure. Hope that clears some stuff up!

I'm posting this in response to some comments below. I received my acceptance Jan 25 via email telling me to check my portal which they updated to include the acceptance letter. GTA position offered with stipend, full tuition remission. I have until March 15 to accept and will do so unless Cornell speaks up. If you are on wait-list, I'm trying to hurry!

re. brown - seems early to me. brown wrote me last year that I was waitlisted around end of march, if that helps. they are cool if you call them and ask when decisions are going out. be brave baby!
