Shook. Email from POI (DP) asking to call him to speak with me and discuss my research. Idk if I should call it an interview but it sounds like it, no?

Hey y’all, all the interviews definitely went out yesterday and the day before, so if you haven’t gotten an email, it stings but you’re pretty much out. Hope this is better than waiting til March. Congrats to all those who got interviews. Seems like an awesome place to work.

First decision. Letter was so nice I had to reread many times to actually see that I was waitlisted. I guess this is a good first result? For those who care about the details I got an email from the department’s office support specialist with an attached letter.

To the poster below, asking about my interview invitation on Dec. 13: I submitted my application on Nov. 28, and the deadline was Dec. 1.

Had a Skype interview on Jan 9th and just yesterday (Jan 14th) I was invited over e-mail to a one-day on-campus visit. Eep!
