Very excited. I applied to 4 schools my senior year of college and got all rejections. This is my second year out of school and I've been working with literacy acquisition in elementary schools students to boost my resume & make up for my GPA/GRE. I finally applied to schools again in February and I am so thankful to be accepted to this program. I'm waiting to hear back from a few others to make a decision, but I am very impressed by Mizzou so far. If anyone can share insight about the program, please do! | ||||

To the below poster who is discouraged and needs a plan for next year with your bachelors! I am currently an SLPA after not getting in last year, I’ve been accepted into four programs after working as an SLPA for a year! So I would start looking for that job if possible it looks great and TONS of experience I wouldn’t trade for the world! | ||||

On Thursday last week I was notified I was offered a part time grad asssistant position! Very excited about this opportunity. In the acceptance email is stated that when we email that we accept we would get a confirmation email. I emailed them Friday and accepted and haven’t recieved a confirmation email, has anyone else accepted and either received or has not received their confirmation email? Just checking this out! Also, has anyone made a Facebook group? | ||||
