TPB: I noticed that people emailed the dept in early/mid-March, so maybe we can do that in the next few weeks to not get strung along too much further

(Not interview). Okay Northwestern did this last year too. They sent out a round of acceptances and then a round of rejections. and then they waited several weeks before sending out more rejections and some waitlists + acceptances. I was one of the people who got rejected at the end of the season after getting strung along. I reapplied this year and am in the same boat as last year. Hoping for a different result this time around.

Is it a good sign that I'm not getting any notification from this school? Am I possibly waitlisted? The chance of being accepted after being waitlisted does not seem too high from the last years' posts but still hopeful...
