Shocked, after seeing people with much lower GPAs and relevant work experience getting an admit. Low GRE ruined it for me probably. :( Was my only hope left. MS dreams shattered.

Got the letter in the mail today, but it's dated 3/22. Also now says rejected on website. To the poster below, this was also my top pick and I thought it was a great fit. Little bit heartbroken.

If you're wondering about your status, check the website. Just found out I was rejected (the status has likely been this way for weeks) but I wasn't notified via e-mail. My first pick among the 5 programs I interviewed with. Program was a great fit. I have several publications in psychology and several neuroscience papers under review. Genuinely disappointed/confused.

My status has changed from "Under Departmental/ Program Review" to "Under Graduate School Review" but I haven't received any mail. Can I be hopeful?

I was notified a while ago, but they decided they needed to contact me again to let me know I was not accepted. It was a generic no, kind of like it was generated by a computer. I was disappointed because my college had a good report with the history department, and I talked to the instructors, but it still was not enough. I think it was because of my GPA mixed with an insanely too long writing sample.
