Official email from the department. Expected...

Interview with non-POI in late Jan. Just received rejection notice.

Expected. Was a long shot.

Expected. Good luck to everyone!

Interviewed in January

For those who got accepted to the PhD program, did you just receive an email from the department only or from faculty interested in your application as well (the acceptance email said that faculty will contact)? Did you get to know who your advisor for the first year will be?

To the posters below: It seems that you will have access to ALL decision forms as long as you are admitted into ANY of the programs under SCS. I believe being able to log into the system (or not) really doesn't mean anything. Relax!!!

CSD PhD, no interview.

Congrats to the Columbia admitted below! What does your web portal look like? Have they updated the admission decision section yet?

For those waiting to hear back on PhD, I emailed the Graduate Coordinator and she said they still haven't finalized all applications. It's still possible to be accepted in the next couple weeks. Masters decisions will come out in March.

Accepted with presidential fellowship, official email

Accepted for theory, official email, had interview with POI listed in letter.

Anyone has an idea when to expect an official notice? This suspense is k.i.l.l.i.n.g

Theory

Went for an interview with POI on admission committee. From Tehran!

I'm the accepted poster below, I'll try to answer the questions asked. I was accepted into the "Ph.D. in Computer Science" program from the "School of Computer Science in the College of Computing at Georgia Tech", I hope that helps. I got an email earlier today saying my decision would be available "at the close of business this evening". I also received a Presidential Fellowship. Let me know if you have any other questions.
