TTPB: I understand the gravity of the situation, there is a complete lockdown in my country too. The issue is that I have other university deadlines to respond to. I cannot ask other universities to delay their deadline because I'm waiting for my dream school to release their decision. It's enough for us to have to deal with coronavirus lockdowns and agonize over our health in addition to grad school decisions. They could atleast update us that it will be released in april instead of keeping us waiting like this.

TTPB Northeastern; yes, the same mail asking to wait. But as they already made most of their offers and unless they have rejected majority of applicants. I guess we should move on.

I've still heard nothing, there's only been about 4-5 results as opposed to the typical 20+. Not sure if they're just lagging behind due to other concerns (COVID-19) or if those accepted didn't post this year and we're awaiting rejections. I did hear from one current student that all EECS faculty/staff have been working on getting things ready for online classes for the past few weeks.

Why is it taking so long? has anyone been interviewed yet? are there any signs I can use to know if I'm accepted or not?

TTPB: The person who said that the results were released on March 13th is a troll. Going by the timeline of last year's release and the department release history, it is most likely that the results will release this Thursday, March 19th as they tend to do the mass releases on Thursdays. If they do not come this Thursday, my guess would be that the current pandemic is causing a delay and that they will release next Thursday, March 26th.

I have received it. It simply says that that they only accept each year around 10 percent and they have already send offers to a 10% of the applicants. However, since they are not sure if these accepted ones will decline there offers or not they are delaying sending us our rejections!!
