virtual interview in mid-Jan

No GRE and my DPD GPA was likely the deciding factor. Accepted to Rutgers.

no GRE, had some volunteer experience and DPD classes but not all

No GRE submitted. Strong recs, research, and work experience. Email to check portal.

For the in-person program. Rejected off the waitlist.

Lack of experience or LOR was not strong enough

Waitlisted but I really hope to end up getting in if someone else declines their spot!

Grad Level GPA - 4.0

No GRE submitted either

Email to check portal!

I was invited to interview with NYU on 3/24/22 after having submitted my application on 1/13/22 and had zero communication from them in between this time. I talked with other applicants who had interviewed and been accepted before I received my invitation, and ultimately concluded I was no longer in the running...While it turns out I did get an interview and would have the opportunity to gain admissions, I have decided that my other acceptances are a better fit for me personally, am honored by the merit awards I received, and am excited about my future in graduate school & the field of art therapy! I hope someone who had NYU as their top choice is able to get in -- and I hope all of this information is helpful to someone else in the admissions process (you still might get an interview with NYU) or future applicants applying next year!

I actually have heard nothing back yet. I was wondering if anyone who has applied to NYU's masters program in English and American literature has heard back?? Anything?

Took them a long time to release responses but finally got an update!
