Wasn't too hopeful to begin with. No interview. Best of luck to everyone else!

Didn't receive e-mail notification, so rejected. Had a decent profile, with several top-tier conference papers.

If you received the email notification in the morning to check the portal, it is probably available now (2:42 EST). Received through the College of Computing. With Fall 2019 tuition and fees waived + Presidential Fellowship for extra stipend for 4 years. Background consists of 2 first author ML publications, one in a small journal paper and one in a top conference. 2 years of industry research experience. Interviewed with a prof early January which went well. So excited, this is one of my top choices!

no research internship. Lots of research experience. 1 workshop paper. Undergrad thesis. Amazing rec letters. No interview.

To the posters below speculating about CMUs selection criteria.I thought they gave all or most of the weightage to gpa.. there are ppl with impressive GREs ,research and publications rejected while the select ones have a staggering Gpa as a common factor.I myself had 332 in GRE and an overall decent profile. But then again,we can scratch our heads as much as we want,only they know their criteria
