TTPB: Seems strange but no big university other than UTAustin seems to have released Ph.D acceptance decisions to all admitted students yet.. Already 2:30 p.m. E.S.T. so I doubt a decision today.

Has anyone heard back from Cornell CS PhD yet? Last year all the admits were sent out on 28th Jan.

I noticed that the “review started on .." date on my application changed to 1/22. It used to be 12/19 (the day when one-way interview was sent out). Maybe they've been cramming & reviewing CS applications last minute XD

I emailed last week and they said end of this week for MS CS. Looks like EE and ORIE have come out first. Might be releasing decisions in order of increasing program size.

Has anyone who applied to the MEng in CS heard anything? Website said we would hear back 5-7 weeks from the round deadline (Dec 3) and we are getting past the 7-week mark.

Anyone also on the wait list? I looked at last year's grad cafe post for Cornell Tech... The last one was early May 2018... It's already May 21... It is really really hopeless.

My undergrad was not in Computer Science, it was in Biology. However, I had a significant focus on bioinformatics (coursework, 2 summer internships, and a senior thesis) and I'd gotten a minor in CS / taken most of the basic core CS courses (Data Structures, Algorithms, etc.) as part of it. I had to do a one-way video interview which I felt like I botched but made it through and a brief technical assessment (randomized questions on a variety of topics; not too difficult if you've had any exposure to CS) because I didn't major in CS.

Was waitlisted then now.... rejected... what a relief... so grateful They said there have already accepted more students than they expected and not expecting to accept more students from waiting list anymore. I am hopeless
