Does anyone know what to expect in the interview? A lot of people got interview requests, I was wondering if anybody gave their interview and can tell us more about their experience.

To the Columbia post below asking about the interview; it's basically a call to get to know the potential candidate. Being an Ivy League University, Columbia thrives on diversity and uses these calls as a precursor to that. Can you please share your profile and the date of submission of your application?

To the poster before, this is really strange. I received an email did interview a week ago and was assuming that I was shortlisted for first round of admission. Now, I am confused too. Not everyone received interview invitation though.
