Prelim interview with ABS in December and recent email notification from this PI, that I did not make it to the formal interview.

To the person who received a rejection from Yale, would you mind saying if it was a mass rejection or a rejection following an interview? I haven't heard anything, and I'm anxiously awaiting any news. Thank you!!

Bummer

For the request above - sure! I listed a list of around five or POIs on my application materials but actually they are not the ones whom I was scheduled to interview. So I'm not sure if sharing the POIs will help or not.... Good luck!

To the poster asking about formal Yale interviews below: I had a preliminary interview today and the PI I interviewed with said that the formal interview day is on 1/25 and that invites will be going out later this week.

Has anyone gotten official interview invites from Yale? I had a prelim last week. I was told that the department was meeting on Friday to come up with a final interview list and that official invites should be going out this week.

To the poster who got the invite for developmental, may I ask your POI's initials? And also, was the invite sent by your POI or from the department? Thanks and congrats!

!!! Interview date 1/25, see you there!!

Prelim interview with JJ

All interviews for Yale INP have been sent out at this point!

3 first-author, 1 co-author, 3 international conferences (3 posters, 1 podium, 3 awards), 4-year experience, with MS degree.

Unofficial notification from PIs

Received an email from a professor (interested in) asking to schedule a meeting to chat. Mentioned that they were looking at my candidacy.

Informal Interview with PI. GRE is pre-master, grad GPA 4.0

To the question below, the committee hasn't decided on who to invite.

TTPB: A member of BBS staff sent out an email to interviewees for all BBS programs this morning, so I'd assume all invitations have been sent!

Does anyone know if all invites have gone out for BBS?
