Got an interview the weekend of Valentine's Day. Got accepted the last week of feb! But I received no funding. Anybody else in creative writing in the same boat?

Woah! I am honored to be on this waitlist. One of my top schools so I'm hoping a spot opens up! 3a/1w/0r/6p

Nice email about how I should be very encouraged by this news. Waitlist is unranked. 0a/2w/3r/1p

Email to check portal, generic rejection letter

sadder!

sad!

Super nice email letting me know early on that I had been rejected. Was just happy they let me know instead of playing the waiting game. Knew it was a slim chance, but believe the program I have been accepted into is a better fit for me. 1a/2r/2p.

No notification, just saw the updated status when I logged into the website. Really bummed about it, but maybe they'll at least send me an official rejection later. :(

One of my top choices, so this is too bad. 1a/0w/4r/6p

A very, very kind email.

Not surprised about this one. 1a/4r/3p
