Invitation from the admissions committee for a 15 minute Zoom interview on February 8th. Computational Linguistics track.

Received email saying I had been shortlisted and with instructions for next steps, which will include four one-on-one interviews and reviewing a published article.

To answer the post below about AF, yes I did a prelim with her last week and got the final interview notification yesterday. She said that she had prelim with 8 people and would invite 4-5 to the final. Hope it helps and good luck!

Does anyone know when UW is giving out results? They seem to vary very much based on the past years...

to the poster with an intv w PI: AF at UW, congrats! do you know whether that was a mass interview invite email? and did you have an unofficial intv?

I got the official interview invitation from POI: AF. So excited.

TTPB for UW Social Psych - I reached out to the grad advisor the other day and got a very non-committal response... basically saying the time between invites and interview day *could* be shorter due to COVID, but did not elaborate on when or whether they have been sent. Fingers crossed!

Invited for an interview with a panel (potential advisor and others) in the first week of Jan '21. Asked questions about motivation, topic of interest and goals.
