I hold a 4 year research experience and worked on 5 different projects. I have published 3 articles in well renowned, indexed journals. I also have 6 conference papers, with 3 additional journal papers under review. That said, these people reply via email stating that there is no supervisor, so admission cannot be handed. LOL. | ||||

TTPB (Toronto ECE MASc): I emailed a few POIs, but either got no response or really generic "I have positions, apply" responses. It seems Toronto profs do not interview potential applicants unless a formal application has been made (unlike some other universities I applied to). I have not contacted anyone there regarding my application but what I have heard seems to corroborate what you said (that the process can drag on till as late as May/June). Seeing as we have not been contacted till now, our chances seem to be very slim, even if they are not technically zero. I too am an international student so I am not sure if there is any time left. I myself have moved on as I have other offers but the department's lack of feedback and clarity is frustrating. | ||||
